But, earlier this month that is exactly what happened to a 71-year-old Acworth man.<\/p>\n<p>It all began when a young man from Dallas, 30, was driving in the left lane headed eastbound on Lake Acworth Drive in a red 2013 Dodge Ram.<\/p>\n<p>When M.W. was approaching North Main Street in the Dodge, he tried to change into the right lane but wound up colliding with a blue 2010 Mazda that was driven by a 54-year-old Marietta man, who thankfully, was not injured.<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, this story is not over. After colliding with the blue Mazda to his right, M.W. steered to the left and crashed head-on into a Nissan travelling westbound and in the opposite direction of the Dodge.<\/p>\n<p>The driver of the Dodge Ram, a rather large truck, was not injured, but his 22-year-old <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kalkalaw.com\/car-accidents\/passenger-accident-inury-lawyers-marietta-ga-personal-injury-lawyer-near-you\/\">passenger<\/a>, also from Dallas, was transported to WellStar Kennestone Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.<\/p>\n<p>Tragically, the driver of the Nissan was taken to Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, where he later died from his injuries.<\/p>\n<p>Both Acworth and Cobb County police are investigating the accident and said that they are expecting to file charges at a later time.<\/p>\n<p>The family of the 71-year-old victim who died in the wreck has retained The Kalka Law Group to represent them in this\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.kalkalaw.com\/personal-injury\/wrongful-death-lawyers-marietta-ga-personal-injury-lawyer-near-you\/\">wrongful death<\/a>\u00a0case.
