Emergency personnel were able to extract our client from their car by removing the door and rushed them to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Our client was treated for multiple injuries sustained in the accident including:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Broken neck<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kalkalaw.com\/atlanta-georgia-car-accident-lawyer-personal-injury-attorney-near-you\/nerve-damage-after-a-car-accident\/\">Nerve damage<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Neurogenic bladder secondary to motor vehicle accident<\/li>\n<li>Incontinence<\/li>\n<li>Elbow surgery lateral and medial epicondylitis<\/li>\n<li>Contusions<\/li>\n<li>Concussion<\/li>\n<li>Lab belt injury<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Once released to a doctor&#8217;s care, our client reached out to our firm and we soon filed a lawsuit. State Farm agreed to mediate within 90 days but reneged the night before the mediation was due to begin.<\/p>\n<p>We proceeded to fight State Farm for three years, including contesting an expert brought in by State Farm who alleged the incontinence suffered by our client was not a result of the accident. We were later able to cross-examine the expert who finally admitted that the accident may have in fact caused the incontinence.<\/p>\n<p>Our firm further noticed four witness and five medical depositions and beat State Farm&#8217;s Motion for Summary Judgment. State Farm finally agreed to a settlement in January 2015, almost three years after the accident.
