Odyssey is sincerely grateful to The Kalka Law Group, for its support of their organization through the sponsorship of their Fall Party “A Night Out for Odyssey,” which was held on October 26, 2017, and the Annual Odyssey Brunch will be held on February 5, 2018. With the help from sponsors such as The Kalka Law Group, Odyssey is able to provide underprivileged students unique experiences and opportunities on their journey toward higher education.

What Is Odyssey’s Mission?

Odyssey’s mission is to expand the ambitions of Atlanta students, to empower them towards a successful college journey, and to help them pursue a fulfilling career. Working in partnership with The Westminster Schools and the Atlanta Public Schools, Odyssey provides summer academic enrichment through a thematic Project Based Learning curriculum to students who might not otherwise have access to summer learning opportunities.

To date, all students involved with Odyssey from Atlanta Public Schools have achieved a 100% high school graduation rate, which represents around 120 schools within the APS system. The summer program consists of six weeks of educational experiences focusing on science, technology, art, engineering, and math.

How Can You Get Involved?

The next event for Odyssey is the Annual Brunch in February 2018 which is open to the public and tickets can be purchased online. Additionally, Odyssey is always in need of volunteers, who have a passion for helping these young students through various programs. They are always looking for high school student volunteers, office support, special event volunteers, readers, and college mentors.
